The integration of video surveillance cameras and event monitoring sensors is the next step in the evolution of crime fighting technologies. Tightly integrated with field sensors such as Gun Shot Detection, License Plate Recognition, or Radiation Detection, AC/SiSS uses signals and GPS data to pinpoint activity and cue cameras in the vicinity of the event. PTZ cameras then respond to the AC/SiS signal by adjusting their position in the direction of the event, enabling law enforcement to take rapid response measures as the event unfolds.
