Gold Star Families and Memorial Park, located on the Chicago Park District grounds near Soldier Field, offers a quiet path that winds through a peaceful grove along the downtown lakefront and leads visitors to 460 flowering crab trees. Each tree represents a police officer killed in the line of duty.
